Battle of the Bins

The last couple of months, we have been working very hard to reduce the amount of waste we send to landfill. It started with re-usable produce bags and it led to our garden fence looking like a mantle piece on Christmas morning.

That day at the Op Shop

3 September 2017

op shop

The other day I visited our local Op Shop for the first time. It was like the doors of a treasure box opened to me.

Only to end in drama a couple of hours later. Which Hubby fixed in an instant - as Hubby does.

And in the meantime in Perth

2 September 2017

A lot can happen in a year's time!

Like: starting a family!

To UGG or not to UGG

29 October 2015

radio 2

Spring has arrived in Perth! We can start rolling up our sleeves, get our shorts out of the wardrobe, and put our UGG boots back in the box. My pair of UGGs comes all the way from London, bought during one of our last trips there before moving Down Under. They're black, super warm and super comfortable. And yet what I discovered this winter makes me think twice before putting them back on.

Father's Day
